Meet Dr. Chris Cousins
VeterinarianDr. Cousins has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2005. He values the connection between people and their pets—the trust, companionship, and the role animals play in the lives of the families who love them.
He especially enjoys client communication, whether it’s helping them better understand their pets or checking up on their wellbeing. Whether it’s explaining a diagnosis or offering practical guidance, Dr. Chris believes that education is one of the most important parts of veterinary medicine.
Dr. Chris met his wife, a veterinary internal medicine specialist, while they were both in vet school at the University of Georgia. Together, they share a deep commitment to animal care and a life centered around family. They have two daughters who keep life full and active, two dogs who were both picked up on the side of the road, and two cats who also just showed up one day. They are all now very much part of the family.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Chris enjoys gardening, concerts, running and spending time with his family. He feels grateful to serve this community and considers it a privilege to care for the pets who are such an important part of it.
