Advanced Diagnostic Ultrasound
Our in-house ultrasound services are led by Dr. Laura Cousins, a board-certified internist with over 23 years of ultrasound experience. She serves as the hospital’s primary ultrasonographer, providing advanced diagnostic imaging with precision and expertise.
Dr. Cousins performs both abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms (cardiac ultrasounds). While she is not a cardiologist, she has over 20 years of experience performing echocardiograms and managing cardiac cases in specialty and mobile settings.
All ultrasounds are interpreted in-house, with detailed written reports provided to ensure timely diagnoses and seamless treatment planning. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Cousins also teaches ultrasound continuing education to fellow veterinarians.
With advanced training and decades of experience, your pet receives expert-level diagnostic care — all under one roof.
