Mobile Ultrasound

Does your pet need specialized diagnostic testing?

When an animal family member isn’t feeling well, it can be stressful for everyone. Having to bring your pet to a specialty clinic where he or she is not familiar or comfortable can only make matters worse. At Paw Prints Animal Hospital we want our patients to receive the care they need in a way that minimizes stress as much as possible. That’s why we’ve partnered with a local specialty practice that offers mobile ultrasound services. Not only is this more convenient for you, but it’s also much better for your pet.

Ultrasound imaging provides a non-invasive way to examine the inside of your pet’s body and diagnose potential health concerns. It is safe and painless, yet offers highly-accurate images that allow us to evaluate how your pet’s body is functioning. Some of the many ailments and medical conditions ultrasound can be used to identify and diagnose include:

  • Heart Disease (Congenital or Age-Related)
  • Tumors
  • Bladder and/or Kidney Stones
  • Diseases of the Organs (Liver, Gall Bladder, Kidney)
  • Gastrointestinal Problems
  • Much More…

In many cases, traditional diagnostic testing, such as blood work and x-rays aren’t enough to reach a definitive diagnosis. Ultrasound provides the added level of insight our doctors need to ensure that your pet receives the most timely and effective care. Should an ultrasound be recommended, we’ll arrange for our partners to bring their state-of-the-art equipment with them to administer the test right at our clinic. By cutting down on the level of stress your companion experiences, we can more accurately diagnose and treat whatever may be ailing him or her.

If your pet has been acting unusual lately and you’re concerned an illness or injury might be to blame, contact us right away. We can conduct the necessary testing and arrange for in-clinic specialized care as needed. Call today to learn more.
